Personal Information

General Overview: Although unpredictable with my love life (and everyone else’s!), I’m actually fairly predictable in my day-to-day life. I rarely wake up alone in the mornings unless I decide I need some me time the night before. I typically work in the office from about ten to three on weekdays. I meet personally with clients who are either looking to start their journey to find their soulmate or who are looking for dating advice, which I also happily provide. Then it’s off to spend some time shopping or spending time with my friends or heading to see the other gods and goddesses. At night, it’s time to go out and have a good time! It’s a different club and a different party every night. The drinks are flowing, the music is loud, and the men flock to me in droves. Some women too.

I’m not someone you can easily get along with. Jealousy follows me wherever I go. I, myself, am a very jealous individual. Don’t ask me to say it again. I know what I want, I go after it, and I always, always get my way. Deity Nicknames: None except for pet names

Likes: Love, Sex, romance novels, soft kisses, cuddles, good music, vanilla cake with strawberries and cream, red wine, tequila

Dislikes: People who cheat on me, liars, disloyal friends, men who force themselves on women, horror novels

Skills / Abilities

Immortality – Technically immortal. Immune to the effects of aging, cannot die by any conventional means, and is immune to all known mortal diseases and infections.

Babble-speak – Can communicate in all languages and dialects.

Love Goddess – As a love goddess, Aphrodite has the ability to manipulate the minds and hearts of mortals to create love connections between people. She can sense when there’s impending romance brewing as well as sexual attraction.

Limited Shapeshifting – Aphrodite appears as an extraordinarily beautiful woman when on the mortal plane. This permits her to go out into the world, conduct day-to-day business with mortals, and party alongside them.

Possessions

Normal Daily Wear: Most of the time, I wear a dress. I have a floor-length, chiffon dress in a multitude of colors and a simple pair of sandals. I feel like it accentuates my body very well.

Alternate Dress Wear: Dressing up for a party usually entails a pair of heels or golden sandals, a very revealing dress, and some jewelry.

Magical Artifacts/Weapons

Gold Pendant – Wearing this pendant causes others around the wearer to instantly fall in love with them.

Historical Synopsis

Aphrodite is the ancient Greek goddess of sexual love and beauty, correlating to Venus in Rome. She was born from the white sea foam and Uranus’s severed genitals thrown into the sea by his son Cronus. She was widely worshipped as a goddess of the sea as well as a goddess of war in places like Sparta before settling into the position of the goddess of love. Aphrodite was horribly mismatched with Hephaestus as her husband, so she turned to many, many affairs to satisfy her. The most famous and long lived was that of her and Ares. She had several children by him. Hepheastus caught the two of them in his and Aphrodite’s bed with a golden net where he then brought the other gods and goddesses to stare and laugh at them.

Aphrodite is famous for interfering with mortals’ love lives. She will stop at nothing to get her way or prove her point, even to start something as devastating as the Trojan War.[1][2]
