Michael Z. Ryan is an award winning playwright and screenwriter from the incorrectly labeled “Flyover State” of Iowa. Michael has been the voice of Zeus, more or less since October of 2011. Being the scribe of Zeus often has Michael residing in an illegal sublet, purchased by Zeus, under the watchful eye of his Cyclops landlord Steve. Zeus said it was the best he could do for someone with “pinchable cheeks” like his. She also spends time killing people off in her 72-Hour Murder series which has 2 installments already published. Each is a quick read that promises to have you rooting for the death at the end. CJ is fascinated by the different ways to torture someone and hide the body and tries to include those in some way in her writing. You can almost guarantee that someone dies in her books. She’s also deathly terrified of sharks because those fuckers will one day evolve to breathe on land and eat everyone.

As luck would have it, fantasy fiction found Mary Kit Caelsto through Mercedes Lackey’s companions, which makes sense considering that Mary was a horse crazy girl, who grew up to be a crazy horse lady. She channels this passion into writing women’s equestrian fiction, but returns to her first love with her fantasy series, combining music and magic set in the world of the Musimagium. She lives in the Ozarks on her homestead that she shares with her artist/writer husband, entertaining chickens, enough cats to make her a crazy cat lady, as well as other assorted pets and rescues, including Fortune, the Empress of the Pasture, her senior horse named in part for Tyche’s Roman counterpart, Fortuna. When she’s not writing or enjoying the outdoors, she works as a freelance editor, book formatter, and author technical assistant.

Fascinated by the stars and space from a young age, it makes sense to anyone who knows him that Steve writes science fiction and fantasy. In fact, he met his wife at a writing workshop many years before they were married. He’s a fan of old Star Trek, big sweeping epic novels, and great storytelling no matter where it’s found. You can usually find him working on a story or his digital artwork in his office cabin/man cave on his Ozark homestead which he shares with a wife, a lot of cats, and an assorted menagerie of other animals.
